The average altitude of its main tea-producing areas is about 1,000 meters, which belongs to a typical mid-subtropical forest ecosystem. The soil in Wuyi Mountain is a typical red soil with a pH value between 5.5-6.5 and an organic matter content of over 12%. The soil is fertile and suitable for the growth of tea trees.

The mild climate, abundant rainfall and large temperature difference between day and night make tea trees accumulate more organic matter, which is very suitable for the growth of tea trees.

How to brew Jinjunmei with Teapot?

Jinjunmei is a type of black tea known for its delicate and complex flavor. To brew Jinjunmei, follow these steps:

1. Boil water: Start by bringing fresh, filtered water to a rolling boil. Let it cool slightly for a minute or two to achieve the optimal temperature for brewing.

2. Preheat the teapot: Pour some hot water into the teapot to preheat it. Swirl the water around and then discard it.

3. Measure the tea leaves: Use about 1 teaspoon of Jinjunmei tea leaves( 3 grams) per 8 ounces (240 ml) of water. Adjust the amount based on your preference and the strength of flavor you desire.

4. Add the tea leaves: Place the measured Jinjunmei tea leaves into the preheated teapot.

5. Rinse the leaves: Pour a small amount of hot water over the tea leaves. This rinses away any dust or impurities and awakens the leaves' flavors. Pour out the rinse water.

6. Pour the water: Slowly pour the hot water over the tea leaves. The water temperature for Jinjunmei is typically around 195°F to 205°F (90°C to 96°C). Ensure that all the leaves are fully immersed in water.

7. Steep the tea: Allow the tea to steep for about 3 to 5 minutes. You can adjust the steeping time based on your preference for a stronger or milder flavor. Avoid oversteeping, as it can result in bitterness.

8. Serve the tea: Once the steeping time is complete, carefully pour the brewed Jinjunmei tea into cups or a serving pot. If using a teapot with a built-in strainer, you can pour directly from the teapot.

9. Enjoy your Jinjunmei tea: Savor the rich aroma and taste of the Jinjunmei tea. You can enjoy it plain or add a touch of honey or milk if desired. It's best to appreciate the natural flavors of this premium black tea.
