Bai Hao Yin Zhen, also known as Silver Needle, is a highly regarded variety of white tea that originates from China. It is the highest degree of White Tea with only tea buds that are all hand-picked.Baihaoyinzhen has the title of China's top ten famous teas, and is known as the "beauty" and "tea king" in tea. Its appearance is straight like a needle, covered with pekoe, like silver and snow. Because the raw materials of fresh leaves are all tea buds, after the finished tea is made of Baihao Yinzhen, it is shaped like a needle, densely covered with pekoe, and white as silver in color, so it is named Baihao Yinzhen.

Flavor: Bai Hao Yin Zhen offers a delicate and nuanced flavor profile. It is known for its subtle sweetness and a floral aroma reminiscent of honeysuckle or orchids. The taste is light, refreshing, and smooth, with a slight hint of natural sweetness.
Processing:Unopened buds are picked by hand carefully.The buds undergo minimal processing to preserve their natural qualities. They are withered, dried, and sorted to ensure the highest grade of tea.

Brewing method:

1、Preheat the Gaiwan: Pour hot water into the Gaiwan, swish it around, and then discard the water. This warms up the Gaiwan and ensures the temperature is suitable for brewing the tea.
Measure the tea leaves: Use about 4 to 6 grams of Bai Hao Yin Zhen white tea for a 120-150 ml Gaiwan. Adjust the amount based on your taste preferences.
2、Place the tea leaves in the Gaiwan: Gently place the Bai Hao Yin Zhen tea leaves into the preheated Gaiwan. Spread them evenly to allow for proper infusion.
3、First infusion: Fill the Gaiwan with hot water (around 80-90°C or 176-194°F) and cover it with the lid. Let the tea steep for about 2 to 3 minutes. This will help to extract the delicate flavors and aromas from the tea leaves.
4、Pour and strain: Hold the lid slightly tilted to strain the tea leaves while pouring the brewed tea into a separate cup or pitcher. You can use a tea strainer if desired to catch any residual leaves.
5、Subsequent infusions: Bai Hao Yin Zhen white tea can be steeped multiple times, revealing different nuances with each infusion. Repeat the process for subsequent infusions, gradually increasing the steeping time based on your taste preference. Typically, you can increase the steeping time by 1-2 minutes for each infusion.
