"Duck Shit Tea," known as "Ya Shi Xiang" in Chinese, is a type of Dancong oolong tea originating from the Phoenix Mountain area in Guangdong Province, China. the tea is highly regarded for its unique flavor and fragrance.
The name "Duck Shit Tea" is a literal translation of the Chinese term "Ya Shi Xiang." In reality, the name has nothing to do with ducks or their excrement.
Unique Flavor and Aroma: Rich aroma, gardenias aroma and other natural floral aroma,the taste is smooth and sweet with a lingering aftertaste.
Handcrafted Processing: The leaves are carefully hand-processed to preserve their unique characteristics. The processing involves multiple steps, including plucking, withering, shaking, oxidizing, fixing, rolling, and roasting.

Brewing method:

1、Warming: Pour hot water into the Gaiwan to warm it up. Then, pour the water out.
2、Leaf Measurement: Add about 5-6 grams of Duck Shit Tea leaves to the warmed Gaiwan.
3、Rinse the leaves : You can choose to rinse the leaves by pouring a small amount of hot water over them, quickly swirling it around, and then pouring it out. Rinsing can help stimulate the aroma of tea.
4、Infusion: Pour hot water (around 100°C or 212°F) into the Gaiwan, covering the tea leaves. No steeping time is needed until you need it to be stronger ( usually we start to extend the steeping time from the 5th brew)
5、Pouring Out: pour out the infused tea into a sharing pitcher or directly into cups. This step helps release the initial strong aromas.
6、Subsequent Infusions: Duck Shit Tea is known for multiple steepings. Starting from the 5th infusion, increase the steeping time by a few seconds. As you continue, you can gradually increase the steeping time with each infusion.
7、Enjoying: Sip the tea slowly, savoring the complex flavors and aromas that unfold with each steeping.
8、Multiple Steepings: You can re-infuse the tea leaves multiple times. Adjust the steeping time based on your taste preferences.
